Today Miia is 2 months and 2 weeks old. She is laughing, babbling or blowing bubbles non-stop while she is awake. It's so fun to see her personality start to shine. Miia seems to be getting a bit of a schedule. She falls asleep around 10pm and wakes up about 5:30, which will be perfect for when I go back to work. I hope it stays the same! She takes a few naps a day and has play time in between feedings and naps.
Miia had another play date with Peyton. We went to her house and while they were hanging out in the crib, Miia would try to suck on Peyton's hand or shoulder, or whatever touched her mouth (as you can see in a picture below). It was so cute to see them interact. We tried to get them to hold hands, but neither of them would keep a tight hold.

Miia celebrated her first Easter by going to church and then to a lunch at my cousin's house. Both sets of grandparents were there to comfort her and hold her while she slept.

Last week some of my college friends came to town for a visit. Cass arrived first so we got some quality time together and Miia and Alex hung out at the park a few times. Alex went down slides and in the swing and he loved to throw the bark. Miia just liked to be outside and to watch the world around her. A couple days later Katie, Whitney, Joni, and her daughter, Sammie, arrived. Sammie would tickle Miia's feet and Miia would crack up. It was so cute, but unfortunately I was bad about taking pictures, so I have no evidence. It was wonderful to spend an extended period of time with adults.
