One Year

It is hard to believe that 12 months have passed since I first held my baby in my arms. I still remember her kicking my belly, but now she uses her legs to walk around. Where at one time her voice was only used for crying, she now adds words to her vocabulary. It is remarkable how much happens in a year in the life of a baby.

We took her to Monterey to visit with my college friends, but she had a very difficult time sleeping in the hotel room, so we all got only a few hours of sleep and we had to endure this for 3 nights! It was still fun to visit the girls and have all the kids together. Miia and Joni's daughter, Sammie, even had the same pajamas!
